TODAY IS AN 8, AND MONEY HAS ITS EARS OPEN
Dear Reader,
It’s the first full week of the new term, and the paperwork has woken up along with everybody else. There are autumn invoices, a renewal somebody put through without asking, and standing orders picking up again after the summer.
Eight is the number of return. Money, standing, results, the harvest of things planted long enough ago that you’ve stopped watching for them.
Eight days often carry news about work or money — a payment, an offer, a decision made somewhere above your head.
Eight is also the number of what you privately believe you’re allowed to have. Whatever you say about it today lands harder than usual, including the things you only say to yourself.
Nothing has to be earned twice. If something arrives easily, that’s not suspicious.
You’re allowed to receive it.

WHICH ONE IS TUGGING AT YOU?
Tap it and an email opens, written for you. Naming it is enough.
| ✦ |
The money conversation I’ve been avoiding |
| ✦ |
The thing I’d ask for if I knew the answer was yes |
| ✦ |
What turned up that I never chased |
SOMETHING TURN UP TODAY?
Lucky you. Lucky life. Let’s make magic!

IN FOCUS TODAY: LIFE PATH 3
A Life Path 3 is the one who talks their way to the answer. Ask a 3 what they think and you will watch them work it out live, and the version at the end of the sentence is better than the version at the start.
Threes get called the creative ones, which is true and slightly misses it. The real marker is that they cannot be bored quietly. A 3 in a dull room will make something happen in it, usually by saying the thing everybody was thinking.
The soft spot is the unfinished shelf. Nine projects at forty per cent, all of them genuinely good, none of them done, and a private sense of being unserious about it.
You aren’t unserious. Scattering is how a 3 finds the one worth keeping, and it took me years to stop apologising for that.
On an 8 morning it’s worth noticing where your voice has already brought work to your door.

YOUR OWN NUMBER
Your own Life Path comes out of your full birth date, and if you only ever learn one number, learn this one. Reduce the month, the day and the year each to a single digit, then add those three together. Leave 11, 22 and 33 as they are.
Someone born on 6 April 1974:
Month: April = 4
Day: 6
Year: 1 + 9 + 7 + 4 = 21 → 2 + 1 = 3
4 + 6 + 3 = 13 → 1 + 3 = 4
A Life Path 4. Work yours out whenever you have a quiet minute. It takes about forty seconds.
SIT WITH ONE OF THESE
Tap whichever one lands. The reply comes with the question in it.
| ✦ |
What did I find out I thought by saying it? |
| ✦ |
Which half finished thing do I still think about? |
| ✦ |
Where has my voice brought work to my door? |
| ✦ |
What do I call unserious that other people value? |
Whatever arrives this morning is yours to keep, and you don’t have to earn it a second time.
A big hug,
Lucky Number
P.S. If you work yours out and it comes to 3, tell me what’s on your unfinished shelf. I read those replies twice, because I have a shelf like it. |
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO RECEIVE IT.
HAVE A WIN TO SHARE?
TELL ME ABOUT IT

| Yours might be the sign somebody else is waiting for. |
