Dear Reader,
First proper week of September, and everybody is suddenly talking again after a month of nobody answering anything. Two of those conversations will go somewhere useful, which is a very 3 way for a week to open.
Three is expression, colour, and the particular pleasure of being heard. It’s the most sociable number in the set.
Conversations go further than expected today. Ideas turn up mid-sentence, which is a 3’s favourite trick. You find out what you think by saying it.
Something creative may want your attention, and it will not present itself as important. It’ll look like a distraction.
Three scatters, too. Six things start and none finish. On a 3 day that is not a failure, it’s the number doing what it does.
Let yourself be light. Light is not the same as shallow.

3 AND MONEY
|

A 3 date landing on the day I write about money, which is a useful pairing, because 3 is the number with the strangest relationship to being paid.
Money comes to a 3 through its voice. Writing, teaching, selling, hosting, making something people want to be near. It arrives through conversation more than through applications, and it usually arrives sideways, from somebody who heard you say a thing once.
The catch is the pricing. A 3 will happily charge for the difficult work and then knock the fun work down to nothing, because it can’t quite believe that the easy thing counts. So the invoice goes out light, and the client is delighted, and nobody says anything.
Ease is not evidence that something is worth less. It is usually evidence of about fifteen years of practice you have stopped counting.
If a 3 runs strongly in your chart, the thing you’d do for free is the thing to say a number about. You are allowed to be paid for the part you enjoy.
